Verizon recently launched the LG K20 V and Samsung Galaxy J7 V smartphone in the U.S. The LG K20 V will be retailing for $168 or $7/month with 24 months contract. It is the same LG K10 2017 smartphone that was first showcased at the CES 2017 event held in January in Las Vegas. The users can also choose the gift of $25 Google Play credit or a 32GB MicroSD. The device comes with decent specifications and an interesting color combination of Black and Orange. It sports a metal frame with a textured plastic back panel.

The 5.3-inch IPS display come with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz and comes coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It also packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be good enough for regular usage. If not, there is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the customized LG’s UX UI on top. The circular fingerprint sensor can be found on the rear of the device.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Beneath the back panel is the 2,800mAh removable battery that is rated to deliver 12.5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 32 hours on standby mode. Last month, LG launched this device as LG K10 2017 in India for Rs. 13,990 (approx $215). While the Indian variant came with NFC support, there is no information about its presence in the LG K20 V. The volume rocker is placed on the left edge of the device, whereas the power button is on the rear.
Recently, Cricket Wireless & AT&T launched the K4 2017 as LG Fortune and LG Phoenix 3 respectively. While the LG Phoenix 3 is retailing at $80, the LG Fortune costs $90. It comes with a 5-inch in-FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor. There is a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP fixed focus camera. It is kept powered on by a 2,500mAh removable Li-ion battery and runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow.
