LG G Watch to be sold in UK before July 2014, Expected Pricing less than 180 GBP – Details
The LG G Watch is the company’s first Android Wear
powered Smartwatch that was unveiled last month is going to be
available before July for less than 180 GBP in UK. The company promised
that this device would be launched in the second quarter of 2014 and
they are keeping up the promise.
The company showed a non-working prototype of this G Watch in the
event held in UK and it will be the final version. However the
specifications of the device was not circulated but mentioned that it
will be having changeable straps as we have seen in the Samsung Gear
Fit. This Smart watch from LG is larger than the Gear 2 and as we know
it will be running on Android Wear.
From the original mock-up pictures we have, that were already got to
us by LG we can say that there will be no hardware buttons on this
device. LG also reported that they will be considering the round option
of this smart watch for it users in the future. Just like what we saw in
the Moto X Smart phone the users will be able to initiate voice
commands by just saying OK Google.
The Smart watch is expected to unveil at the company’s developer
conference that scheduled in June, Google I/O, the Search
Engine announced that it is working with many of manufacturers including
LG, Motorola, and Fossil to bring smart watches that work seamlessly
with Android. This device is expected to work with man of the Android
powered Smart phone in the market.
“The opportunity to work with Google on LG G Watch was the
perfect chance for LG to really pull out all stops in both design and
engineering,” Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said in the release.
