Details of Mini Version of LG G4 MINI Leaked

Update: Earlier this week, we reported that there is a mini version of LG G4 to be launched as ‘LG G4c’. Today a new device dubbed as ‘LG G4 Mini’ has appeared in the Vodafone’s database in Hungary. It is listed in M-category, where M denotes mid-range segment.

As far as the insider sources of Vodafone are considered, the G4 Mini sports a 5-inch HD display, but with a Snapdragon 615 instead of Snapdragon 410 as rumoured on G4c along with 2GB of RAM and a 13MP rear camera with no OIS.

If the Mini version features the leather back as we seen on LG G4, then G4 Mini might provide some competition in highly crowded mid-range segment. The G4 Mini may be launched by the end of June or early of June.

LG launched their 2015 flagship LG G4 in the last week of April; it has the best in class specs like Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage. If the information by the German retailer is to be believed, then LG might be working on a smaller variant of LG G4 with the model number H525N. Unlike HTC and Samsung, LG doesn’t name it devices with ‘Mini’, for LG G3 the smaller variant named as LG G3s. The leaked variant with model number H525N named as LG G4c. There is no official confirmation from LG about this device.

The LG G4c will feature a 5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera and a battery of 2540mAh capacity. The LG G4c runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based LG’s UX 4.0.
It will available in the colours Gold, White, Silver and will be priced around €300 (approx Rs.22,000). There are many smartphones in India running on Snapdragon 410 chipset and priced under Rs.10,000. The German retailer mentioned that LG G4c will be launched on 12th May. We don’t know if LG will launch it with leather back or not.
