Verizon's HTC One (M7) to get Lollipop update tomorrow
HTC has announced that the Verizon variant of the One (M7), which was released back in 2013, will start receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update tomorrow. The announcement was made by the company's VP of Product Management Mo Versi via a tweet.
Verizon HTC One (M7) Owners! Thank you for your amazing patience. We've received TA on L OS, OTA starting on Thursday.
It's worth mentioning that the Sprint as well as T-Mobile and AT&T variants of the device received the update back in February and March this year, respectively.
The news comes over a couple of months after the HTC One (M8) for Verizon started receiving the Android 5.0 update. Meanwhile yesterday, the Google Play Edition (GPE) of the device started gettingAndroid 5.1.
