IMAGES OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 ACTIVE LEAKED
Samsung had launched few rugged versions of their Galaxy S line-up. If the few photo found on the internet are to believe, the rugged version of Samsung Galaxy S6 might be unveiled soon. Unlike Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S6 is not a dustproof or waterproof smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) will have three physical rugged buttons below the screen; here we may miss the fingerprint scanner since we there is no ‘Home’ button.
The phone looks super rugged with its sturdy plastic on the back. The Galaxy S6 Active is the third version of the rugged smartphones, before to this Samsung launched Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S5 Active. The speaker is moved on to the back that is on the bottom of Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 Active doesn’t look that good as Galaxy S6; we should consider it as a rugged device than to be an attractive device.
The Galaxy S6 Active will feature a 3500mAh battery whereas the regular versions do have only a 2550mAh battery. It comes with the heart-rate monitor placed next to the 16MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. Galaxy S6 Active sports a 5.1-inch QHD (1400×2560) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 14nm Exynos 7420 octa-core chipset with 3GB of RAM.
There is no information about the microSD card slot and the availability of the device in global markets. We may have the official information from AT&T or Samsung coming soon in the next few weeks.
