GOOGLE TO UNVEIL ANDROID M THIS MONTH AT I/O KEYNOTE

Google I/O 2015 will take place on 28th and 29th this month at the Moscone Center in San Francisco California. The schedule for all the events at Google I/O 2015 is now available. Among all the events listed on the website, the ‘Android for Work event’ gathered a lot of interest which is scheduled on 28th at 2:30 PM, because the information about ‘Android M’ is directly mentioned in the description of the event. The event is now removed from the website.

At I/O 2014, Google unveiled the Android L and until this month we have only 10% of devices running on the Lollipop. If Google shows any information regarding Android M, we don’t expect it to be released anytime soon. There is no word on what ‘M’ stands for, It might be Mango or a Muffin, it’s all up to your guess.
Along with this, two more features Voice Access and Proximity-based Communication are to be announced. The Voice Access may be an extension of the recently added Google’s custom voice-actions. Last year, there is leaked regarding ‘Nearby’ which enables the Android devices to communicate with other devices, places and people. Like what we seen in smart lock options, with trusted devices or in trusted places your device unlocks automatically. This Nearby features now comes to I/O 2015 as Proximity-based communication.
There will be a lot of stuff around Android and Google like the Android Wear, Android Auto, Android TV, Android Home and many more to be discussed.
