SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 EDGE ON T-MOBILE NOW RECEIVING ANDROID 5.1.1 UPDATE

If a video posted on Youtube is to be believed, the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 edge has started receiving the Android 5.1.1 update. An XDA Developers member posted a video of the smartphone running the latest Android version. The Android 5.1.1 update is supposed to fix the bugs like the memory leak, app crashing and RAM is not increasing with the closing of apps.

It will be interesting to see how many more devices will jump to Android 5.1.1 update. The total share if Lollipop is around 5.4% of the total active devices, to that 5% of devices run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and the other 0.4% run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Samsung started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy devices in December starting with Galaxy S5. The users who installed Lollipop update on their Galaxy S5 complained about the performance and battery issues. As there were many bugs in the Android 5.0 Lollipop, Google came out with Android 5.0.1, 5.0.2 after few weeks of the initial launch of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
